Presentation of Pre Conference Survey Data by Paul Robbins and Patrick Smeraldo. Survey revealed 5 Areas of Concern by Participants When Dealing with 0-5 Population and Families:

  • Family Access and Navigation Through the System
  • Out/Reach and Raising Awareness of Available Services
  • Coordination of Programs and Services Being Provided
  • Advocating for Children
  • Improving Transitions Into and Through the System

Suggested Improvements Made By Coalition:
Build on Coalition to Keep Communion Between Agencies
Expand 2-1-1 WNY Call Center
Make Concentrated Effort on Outreach to Parents/Physicians and Hospitals
Collaborate With Coalition Agencies to Avoid Duplication of Services and Lower Agency’s Costs
Design a Social Media Concept to be Accessed by ALL Coalition Agencies to Share Information and Program Offerings
Combine Multiple Agency Meetings to Avoid Duplication (Being Done with LEICC and Possibly 0-3 Infancy Circle)
Advocating for Children on Government Level
