Summer Early Childhood and Pre-K Institute Announced

June 2016 – Chautauqua Connections Children’s Coalition, Jamestown Public Schools, Chautauqua County Education Coalition, and the Chautauqua County Association for the Education of Young Children are pleased to announce the 1st Annual Summer Pre-K Institute. Children Are The Key to a Thriving Community

The vision of a thriving community is the reason why more than 30 local agencies met at Jamestown Community College on Thursday. The Chautauqua Connections Children’s Coalition held its second annual meeting in the Sarita Weeks Room at JCC, which featured speakers County Executive Vince Horrigan, Christine Schuyler, county social services commissioner and public health director, and Heather Brown, The Resource Center’s assistant executive director for program operations. Agencies Team Up to Serve Children

Many organizations from Chautauqua County put a strong emphasis on making sure that area children have access to any services that they might need to grow up in a healthy, nurturing environment. Three of those organizations, Chautauqua Connections Inc., Chautauqua County Early Intervention and Chautauqua Tapestry, recently teamed up to hold a forum at the Carnahan Training Center at JCC.
