Chautauqua Connections was incorporated in 1993 as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit entity.

Purpose of Chautauqua Connections


To create a comprehensive inter-agency collaborative strategy with special pro-focus on problem prevention and healthy child development.  Chautauqua Connections is designed to bring together the specific competencies of various organizations across a variety of existing program areas and to focus thoughtfully on improving the effectiveness of the human service delivery system in Chautauqua County.

The mission of Chautauqua Connections, Inc. is to ensure that children with needs from birth to age six will reach their optimal development.

This mission is accomplished by:

Providing the necessary services and supports that ensure the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of each child.

Supporting families in their critical role in the life of their child.

Building on assets, strength, and diversity of existing providers through cooperation, collaboration, and partnership.

Engaging community understanding and support of these outcomes.
